BSA METEOR MK1-5 Piston Seal Conversion kit

Designed & Made by me Welsh Willy is a BSA Meteor Piston seal conversion kit. This will fit MK1 - 5 BSA Meteors

The kit replaces the original factory O ring set-up with a much better sealing & performing parachute seal.

In tests I found the new seal when fitted along with the WW BSA Meteor spring service kit averaged 10.2 ftlbs using RWS Superdomes and 10.4 ftlbs with RWS Hobby’s, with the factory fitted head & O ring it was almost 8 ftlbs.

2 different types of piston fitting see pics below main photo 1 = straight through other is Keyhole

Please check that the insides of your cylinder are score free and don’t have any ovaling of the main cylinder

Very easy to fit takes all of 5 mins to install.

Piston Seal Conversion kit consists of

1 x parachute piston seal

Delrin tapered insert

Delrin Buffer washer

Tapered allen headed screw, nylock nut & rear steel washer
